There are several Blade Pro presets here, of all colours and textures. If you're new to Blade Pro, or know nothing about it, I'm happy to explain. :) Blade Pro is an amazing filter or 'plug in' which can be used in a graphics software program like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro to add special effects to your text and other images. I've been using Blade Pro for around a decade now, and since I started working with it have come across many, many other filters and plugins online, many free - some not - and to this day I have yet to come across a filter that is half as good. I still use it to this day - and often, too.

Blade Pro is a commercial product, and if you're not lucky enough to already own it, you will have to purchase it to use the free presets below, but you will definitely get your money's worth, and more. Like I said, I've been using this program for over 10 years now and IMHO, it's the very best filter out there. Have you ever seen those gorgeous metallic or glass textured lettering and other fancy decorations on other graphics sites and wondered how they were made? Odds on they were made with Blade Pro (or Super Blade Pro as it's known as now.) To find out more, you can visit the Blade Pro website right here: Flaming Pear's Super Blade Pro. (No, I do NOT get any kind of kickback from Flaming Pear by giving them a plug here - I wish, lol - I just really, REALLY love this little filter so much and can't ever see myself not using it).

To grab a preset, just click on the picture to commence downloading. Once the zip file downloads, extract the files it contains (the Blade Pro file itself, plus two image files) directly into your Blade Pro Environments folder inside your plugins folder. The path will probably look something like this: C:\Program Files/Jasc Software Inc/Paint Shop Pro8/PlugIns/BladePro/environments. These should also work in Photoshop as well - just copy and paste them straight into the Super BladePro Environments and Textures folder inside your PS plugins folder, (i.e. adobephotoshop\plugins\superbladepro\environmentsandtextures).

Tip: These are all original Blade Pro presets. However they can still be used in Super Blade Pro. All you have to do is to change the file extension from '.q9q' to '.q5q' (without the quotes) to make it compatible. For instance, if you were to download my preset called 'Silver Paper' you would rename this file from 'gasilverpaper.q9q' to 'gasilverpaper.q5q' (or in other words, simply rename the bit at the end).
