Can you explain your copyright terms?
All graphic images and other site content including tutorials, text and HTML are all © Graphic Allusions, 2003-2007. By downloading any image from this site it is assumed that you have read, understood and agreed to my legal terms of use - so please read the following information very carefully.

Do you require a credit if I use your free tubes?
YES, indeed. Please provide a credit to me on the same page you use my images on. Preferably in the form of a link back (to the main page please: www.graphicallusions.com)

Can I use your freebies to make stuff to sell?
The good news is yes! But they still require a link back (the rules are different for purchased tubes, more on that below). You may use the free tubes for your commercial or personal projects, however you MUST provide credit to me, in the form of a link back.

What about printed stuff?
Offline use doesn't have to carry a credit as long as it's for personal use, but all commercial projects DO. For instance, if you are making a greeting card for a member of your family, you don't have to provide a credit, however if you are planning to sell a greeting card using one of my images, then you must incorporate my website address on your card.

What about paid-for stuff?
Paid-for tubes, whether from the subscription area or from the public area, do not require a link-back, however if you decide to include one anyway I certainly would appreciate it - but it is not essential.

Can I use your images on my website by just hotlinking to them?
NO WAY! DIRECT LINKING TO THE IMAGES IS NOT ALLOWED. This is bandwidth theft and I will take immediate steps to counteract it. I frequently check my site's admin panel to monitor bandwidth usage and URL referrals, and if I find any direct linkers they will be severely dealt with - trust me.

Can you replace my CD's...they got lost in the mail!
Nope, sorry. NO refunds will be given under any circumstances. Electronic download versions will be the best alternative I can offer. If you purchase any of the CD packages, please be aware that Graphic Allusions will NOT be responsible for third-party postal services failing to deliver. These things are out of my control. I package and place goods in the mail in a timely manner from when I first receive your order. When it leaves my hands, that is where my responisiblity ends. Please be a little patient, too. It's no good bombarding me with emails after only a week or so.

Remember I'm most likely on the other side of the world to you, and there's a lot of kilometres between us. That's even more potential for things to go wrong. Mail can be held up somewhere, or go via a longer route, so my advice is to give it at least a fortnight before you start to get edgy. When I order stuff from overseas and nothing comes, I usually wait at least a month before I start complaining. Besides, in these (rare, thank God) circumstances, electronic downloads will be offered in lieu of missing CD's.

What's your policy about getting refunds for subscriptions and your tube collections?
Refunds will NOT be issued under any circumstances for subscriptions. Please note that subscription fees are on-going. This fact is made crystal clear on the subscription sign-up pages, and it is the customer's responsibility to make sure they are fully aware of this before they subscribe. I'm sorry, but NO exceptions will be made to this rule anymore. The, "I didn't realise I'd be charged again and I want my money back" excuse will no longer be accepted.

Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time by the subscriber, but ONCE A PAYMENT HAS GONE THROUGH, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. You can't just walk off the street into a shop and expect to get a refund simply because you've changed your mind, and I'm afraid you won't be able to do that here, either. This is how I make my living now, after all. However, if you purchase a product and for some reason your download is faulty, I will of course replace the file for you.

Why do I have to wait 24 hours to get a reply?
If you order any product from Graphic Allusions, please note that I am based in Australia. If you reside anywhere else in the world, you must take into account time-zone differences when waiting for a reply after you go through PayPal. I will need up to 24 hours in which to respond to any order. For more information on what to do if you think there is a GENUINE problem, please read this.

I love your tutorials - can I share them with my group or link to them?
Well, the short answer to this, is both yes and no. You like the tutorials, then that's great! But, NO passing them around without my permission first, thanks. The tutorials on this site are all © C. Linklater, 2003-2007. They may be downloaded and stored on hard drives, or burnt to CD-Rom for PERSONAL use only. They must NOT - under any circumstances - be distributed or passed on to any third party such as Yahoo Groups, etc. without first emailing me, the author, for permission first. If you're a website owner, you are more than welcome to link to my tutorials from your own site - but please make sure that you make it crystal clear to your visitors that it is an EXTERNAL link, and that the tutorials are not your own.
