5. With the centre of the button still selected, open Eye Candy. Choose the Glass filter, with these settings, below. Hit OK (the tick icon) and leave selected.
6. Almost finished! One last step. Go to Effects>3D effects>Inner Bevel, and choose the Bead preset, with the following settings:
7. Hit OK.....ta-daaaaa......you have now officially finished. :) Now you can add some finishing touches if you like, such as putting some text on your button. One little tip: what I did to create an even more 'velvetty' look underneath my text (see my example, below) was to create the text with a fuzzy drop-shadow in the same colour as the button fill (red.) Play around and see what you can come up with - resize, try it without the metallic band if you want, and so on. Also, you can change the colour of your fill, and even change the Blade Pro preset to come up with a different metallic look instead of gold. Finally, fill your background layer with whatever colour or pattern you want for your web page background, then merge all layers.
